7 Tips to Stay Healthy and Young
It can be your worst nightmare to imagine yourself as an oldie with grey or no hair, wrinkled skin, protruded belly, weak body, with many health problems such as weak memory, high/low blood pressure, heart troubles, and diabetes to name some. We always want to stay fit, energetic, and perfect in all respects. Aging is a natural and a continuous process that cannot be prevented. Further bad news is there are certain external factors that speed it up, for instance smoking/drinking, high stress, poor diet, lack of physical exercise, less sleep, etc.
The good news however is, just as aging accelerates due to certain factors, it decelerates with the help of some others. Adopting some of the following habits can check and postpone the process of aging to some extent:
• Yoga and meditation. This helps keep your body stay stress free the whole day and strengthen your muscles to regulate the flow of oxygen in your body.
• Stay slim and fit. Go for a walk and the exercise daily. It will control your body weight.
• Balanced diet. Your diet should be enriched with the right quantity of essential nutrients, vitamins, carbohydrates, and minerals. Go for multivitamin supplements, if required.
• Fluid intake. Drink ample water and prefer liquid diets.
• Raw & fresh. Eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, and sprouted foods, as all these contain antioxidants such as vitamins A, E, C, and elements such as selenium, zinc, & copper. Avoid fatty food.
• Sleep. Have a sound sleep.
• Stay contended. Give some time to your hobbies or any other activity, which can refresh you, so stay smiling!
