A look at the Cookie Diet
The Cookie Diet was created by Geneva heathway and is based in California. The Cookie Diet offers a new take on the old problem of fat loss in a slogan found on their web site, “cookie company invents lazy way to lose weight.”
The concept involves just eating cookies, 2oz of a high fiber low fat cookie to be used as a meal replacement. The claim is that the cookie will make you feel full, is nutritious, will further suppress your appetite, boost your metabolism and burn fat. That’s some cookie!
This cookie diet could give you a full effect temporarily, but the other claims it makes about appetite suppression, fat burning and boosting metabolism just don’t seem to be supported by the ingredient list. It mentions documented results, but after thumbing through their site, there were none to be found.
On a positive note, the company does recommend a healthy balanced diet and exercise to help reach your fitness goals. And also supports drinking more water. On the negative side, thereisn’t documentation to support their results, there is no true data on the site, and limited nutritional information listed.
While it sure would be a dream come true to lose weight bby eating cookies, I just don’t think this is a responsible options exclusively for weight loss. If you are thinking about incorporating the cookie diet as part of your balanced diet, think about this….just make it a part of what you are doing to fill you up as part of your 5 small meals a day and satisfy a sweet tooth.
