Breakfast is the most important meal!

Speeding up your metabolism is the key to weight loss, and it starts with breakfast.  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and there really is no excuse for not having something before getting your day started.  For those who say they don’t have time, there are plenty of nutritious breakfast foods that can be consumed in less than 60 seconds, and for the other common excuse of not feeling hungry in the morning, you can train your body to be hungry in the morning, and until then drink your calories. 

Your metabolism needs to consistently obtain calories to keep it moving fast, like coal in a locomotive.  If you eat a light dinner, and then skip breakfast, you have missed feeding go your metabolism for 8-12 hrs, and when done consistently, your metabolism will slow down. 

 

Studied have shown that breakfast increases your alertness, ability to think clearly and retain information as carbohydrates are the primary food for the brain.  It also is proven that those who eat breakfast have an easier time with weight loss than those who skip.

 

A fast breakfast can include a bagel or whole grain toast, cereal, fruit, or if you need something on the go a breakfast supplement bar or meal replacement shake is a great way to get nutrients in the morning.  So no more excuses, the benefits are proven and the choices are available for those who get up and go fast in the morning.
